Mr Govinda Gyawali, NLP Training and Coaching, Sales and Marketing, Strategic Brand Management
Mr Gyawali is a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Trainer, Master Coach, Master Timeline Therapist, and Interactive Master Hypnotherapist from the American Board of NLP (ABNLP). He has more than 20 years of professional experience in Brand Marketing, Product Development & Brand Management for a commercial Bank, multinational companies and corporate houses. He has extensive and rich experience in Sales, Marketing, Brand Management, Trade Marketing, and developing & grooming sales & marketing professionals. Further experience in Product Development, Brand Management, setting up distribution infrastructure, hiring, grooming and mobilizing sales force and training sales force to achieve greater results. His core area of expertise is conceptualising, developing, executing and evaluating Sales, Retail, Product Development, Business Strategies, Brand Strategies, Product Strategies, trade marketing Strategies, business development strategies and marketing & distribution strategies. Additionally, he creates, nurtures and sustains brands in FMCG, Agri-Business and Banking.
Mr Uddhav Raj Poudyal, Development Management
Mr Poudyal is an independent freelance in development management. He conducts research, evaluation and assessment of various programs on Child Labor, Child Protection and Migration in Nepal and beyond but not limited to the sector. His last employment was with Winrock International as Country Coordinator for CLEAR II Project. In the past, he has served as Chief Technical Advisor to ILO’s IPEC in Nepal, Program manager to SCF (UK) in Sindhupalchowk, Executive Director to Natural Products Industry, in Kapilvastu and Senior Processing Officer to Herbs Production and Processing Company Ltd., in Kathmandu. His initial degree was in Pharmacy and later he did his advanced degree in Sociology. He has working experience of more than 32 years on child labour, child protection and migration. He has been providing his expert services to most of the UN (ILO and UNICEF) and international organizations (Plan International, Save the Children International, World Vision International, World Education Nepal, International Organization on Migration, Child Fund Japan, etc.) since last 12 years in Nepal and beyond on issues of child labour, child protection and migration.
Dr Binod Bhatta, Development Management
Dr Bhatta has more than 34 years of professional experience in Project Development/Design, Program Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Strategy Development and Strategic Planning, Policy Analysis and formulation. Another aspect he has been working on is capacity development through various means including training, coaching and mentoring. He has successfully taken and completed several assignments in the aforementioned aspects with the Government of Nepal, Development Partners of Nepal, International NGOs, and NGOs in Nepal and abroad. He carried out several tasks related to these aspects under short-term or long-term assignments. Dr Bhatta has contributed as Short Term Expert (STE) in developing the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning System (MEALS) Portal for the National Reconstruction Authority (Government of Nepal) and prepared a Capacity Development Plan, designed and implemented capacity development activities related to MEALS Portal under the technical assistance from Nepal-EU Action for Recovery and Reconstruction (NEARR). (February 2018 –May 2019).
Mr. Deependra Bickram Thapa, Development Management
Mr Thapa has progressively experienced in the political economy and program implementation approaches. While working in different Ministries of the Government of Nepal as secretary and joint secretary, he was involved in developing various reform plans in civil service and concerned ministries including strengthening monitoring systems. His core competence has been in the area of Capacity Building Training, Public Policy, Governance, Program Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation. His relevant work experiences highlighted in the proposed assignment are Resource person in the areas of development projects with a focus on development cooperation, negotiation skills, resource mobilization skills, Project Management, leadership development skills, motivation skills, RMB/Monitoring and Evaluation and Sector Wide Approach in the context of development management in Nepal in the foreign aid literacy programme organized by Ministry of Finance and UNDP for the senior officers of the seven provinces of Nepal.2017 Key Resource Person for a series of training programmes in “Aid Literacy” for Senior Government Officers, conducted in all provinces under the UNDP/MoF. 2017, Team Leader of a study on the sector-wide approach (SWAp) in the health and education sectors of Nepal with a special focus on federalism for the Ministry of Finance, Government of Nepal. 2014, Key Resource person for a series of training programmes in Project Cycle Management for Government Officers, conducted in the Far Western, Western, Eastern and Central Development Regions of Nepal under the UNDP/Developing Capacities for Effective Aid Management and Coordination Project. 2012-2013 Resource person in the series of training programmes on Results Based Management/Managing for Development Results for senior government officers conducted in all five Development Regions of Nepal under the UNDP/Developing Capacities for Effective Aid Management and Coordination Project.
Mr Mahesh Sharma, Development Management
Mr. Sharma has more than 25 years of experience in program development and management including policy development in the area of health, HIV/AIDS, community development etc. His expertise lies in the areas of project design, program evaluation and assessment; management and institutional review. Mr Sharma possesses remarkable expertise and experience in training and facilitation as well. He has worked as country director for BNMT and as National Program Manager for UNDP assuming total responsibility of program and financial management for more than one million US$ annual budget. He has also worked as a consultant for UNAIDS in Bangladesh. He has gained substantial experience while working first with the government and later with INGOs (BNMT, SCF/UK, SC/N, SC/US), Bilateral (SNV, SDC) and Multilateral agencies (UNDP, UNAIDS, World Bank) as a staff member and later as a consultant. He has sometimes offered intermittent and backstopping support to various organizations for program implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
Mr Krishna Prakash Poudyal Sharma, Grants, Contracts and Procurement Specialist
Mr. Sharma is an independent consultant to provide consulting services to the I/NGOs, bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies and local government in the development sector. He has more than three decades of professional experience in operation and management in Procurement Supply Chain; Acquisition; Contracts and Grants operation and management; Awards and Sub-awards implementation; and Project Compliance Monitoring. Worked almost 20 years internationally in the development sector mainly at USAID/Nepal and with USAID-funded contractors (partners), private firms, and organizations based in the U.S., particularly in lead positions. Served as an expat in Nepal for “Sajhedari: Partnership for Local Development Project” meeting the objectives of USAID/Nepal. Provided onsite contracting support, especially to the U.S. federal procurement support directly through the contracting firm. Moreover, he led, coordinated, and managed the USAID Global Health-funded cooperative agreements, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and other funded grants. Additionally, his expertise in program planning, project design, negotiation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.
